Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Purchase Manager

with a strong background in the

modular furniture or hardware industry

to oversee all procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support smooth production and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies for raw materials, hardware, and modular components. Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency and quality standards. Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Coordinate with production, design, and project teams to forecast material requirements. Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and quality standards. Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies in supply or billing. Maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, and purchase documentation. Stay updated with market trends, new materials, and innovations in the modular/hardware sector. Analyze procurement data and prepare reports on cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency.

Key Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum

5-8 years

of experience in purchasing, preferably in the

modular furniture, hardware, or interior fit-out industry.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and market trends Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (SAP, Tally, or similar) Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of modular fittings, plywood, laminates, hardware, and related materials Experience in cost optimization and supplier development Detail-oriented with a proactive and results-driven approach

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
