Educational Qualification:

BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

Minimum 7 to 9 years of proven experience in purchase and procurement, preferably within Aluminium Piping's or Compressor Industry

Experience in leading and managing a purchase/procurement team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage the purchase team to ensure efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery of materials.

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and organizational goals.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimal quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.

Maintain and expand the supplier network to support multiple project needs.

Review, approve, and process purchase requisitions and orders in compliance with company policies.

Collaborate with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.

Monitor purchase budgets, track cost control measures, and ensure adherence to financial targets.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, vendor agreements, and reports.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization skills.

In-depth knowledge of mechanical materials, equipment, and technical specifications.

Familiarity with procurement processes, ERP systems, and supply chain management.

Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
