Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify reliable and cost-effective suppliers; build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities in sourcing.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand material and service requirements.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for purchasing activities (e.g., cost savings, on-time delivery).
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes and tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Proficient in purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of supply chain procedures, cost analysis, and inventory control.
Preferred Skills:
Certification such as CPP, CPM, or CSCP is an advantage.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
