Purchase Manager - Ladies Wear (B2C Retail)

Job Summary



The Purchase Manager - Ladies Wear (B2C) is responsible for planning, sourcing, and managing the buying of women's apparel for retail customers. The role focuses on consumer demand, fashion trends, inventory optimization, and profitability to ensure the right product mix, price points, and timely availability across stores.

Key Responsibilities



Plan and execute seasonal and in-season buying for ladies wear categories based on B2C retail demand

Analyze sales data, customer preferences, footfall patterns, and regional trends

Source vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers; negotiate pricing, margins, credit terms, and delivery schedules

Ensure quality standards, fabric specifications, fit, and consistency

Plan inventory levels, replenishment cycles, and stock transfers across stores

Monitor sell-through percentage, stock ageing, and slow/fast movers

Finalize pricing, MRP, landed cost, and margin structures

Track fashion trends, competitor assortments, and market pricing

Coordinate with store teams, VM, marketing, warehouse, and finance

Prepare MIS reports on purchase vs sales, margin, and inventory performance

Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's / Master's degree in Fashion, Textile, Retail Management, or Business

6-12 years of experience in Ladies Wear B2C retail purchasing

Strong exposure to ethnic and contemporary women's apparel

Experience handling multi-store retail operations preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
