Source, evaluate, and finalize suppliers for materials, consumables, and services.
Negotiate prices, credit terms, delivery schedules, and contracts for cost-effective purchasing.
Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) based on material requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and monitor their performance.
Ensure timely follow-up on deliveries and resolve supply issues.
2. Finance & Accounting Coordination
Enter purchase bills, GRNs, and related financial documents in
Tally ERP
.
Maintain accurate purchase ledgers, payment records, and costing reports.
Handle
petty cash
and daily cash transactions related to purchasing.
Coordinate with the finance team for vendor payments, bill verification, and month-end reconciliation.
Prepare MIS and cost-analysis reports using
Excel
.
3. Inventory & Store Coordination
Coordinate with the store team for
inward/outward materials
and stock updates.
Verify GRNs, delivery notes, stock registers, and material consumption.
Track material availability to prevent shortages and ensure project continuity.
Assist in reconciling physical stock with system records regularly.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain vendor databases, agreements, quotations, and purchase histories.
Ensure proper documentation of purchase cycles for audits and compliance.
Maintain price lists, comparative statements, and procurement reports.
Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1
-3 years of experience
in purchasing, preferably in
manufacturing, interior fit-out, or construction

Strong proficiency in
Tally ERP

MS Excel
, and financial documentation.
Good understanding of procurement processes, negotiation, and vendor coordination.
Basic understanding of inventory management and material flow.
