Budget & Cost Control:
Manage purchasing budgets, track costs, and ensure competitive pricing for materials.
Inventory & Logistics:
Oversee inventory, schedule deliveries, ensure timely arrival, and manage storage.
Risk Management:
Mitigate risks from price fluctuations and ensure quality control.
Reporting & Compliance:
Maintain records, approve payments, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Team Leadership:
Supervise purchasing staff, foster new product awareness, and stay updated on market trends.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in construction procurement.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
Deep understanding of construction materials, market trends, and supply chain.
Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and teams.
Excellent communication and vendor relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
