Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented

Purchase Manager

to lead our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, negotiating with vendors, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with our production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies in alignment with company goals. Identify and build relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors (especially for fabrics, trims, and packaging materials). Negotiate terms, pricing, and timelines to secure the best deals without compromising quality. Coordinate with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure accurate material requirements. Issue and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and handle any delays or discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and forecast procurement needs to prevent overstocking or shortages. Maintain vendor records, pricing databases, and contracts. Ensure compliance with legal, quality, and sustainability standards. Continuously assess vendor performance and explore new sourcing opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 4+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the fashion or garment industry. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and manufacturing processes is a plus. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software tools.
