About the Role
The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing all procurement and vendor-related activities while setting up proper processes and compliance frameworks. This is a pivotal role that goes beyond buying and focuses on
streamlining vendor management and reducing inefficiencies
.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage the
Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process
-- from quotation to PO to invoice payment.
Handle vendor management and onboarding, particularly for furniture and interiors suppliers.
Ensure compliance by collecting necessary documents, clarifying payment terms, credit periods, and tax requirements.
Verify invoices before finance approval, avoiding ad-hoc payments.
Track purchases against POs for visibility and accountability.
Supervise one team member and collaborate closely with Finance and leadership.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in procurement, preferably in interiors, construction, or related industries.
Strong understanding of vendor management, compliance, and purchase processes.
Ability to build systems from scratch and streamline workflows.
Good negotiation, documentation, and team management skills.
