Flowguards is seeking a results-driven Purchase Executive / Purchasing Engineer to manage end-to-end procurement and costing activities for our manufacturing operations. The role combines material sourcing, cost analysis, vendor negotiation, and inventory control to ensure optimal value, quality, and timely availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and engineering components.
Lead cost analysis, budgeting, and cost control activities.
Develop and maintain cost models, price benchmarks, and supplier price databases.
Evaluate supplier quotations and perform cost comparisons.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts.
Monitor raw material price trends and market fluctuations.
Coordinate with production, stores, quality, finance, and operations teams.
Ensure inventory availability and optimal stock levels.
Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and procurement documentation.
Track procurement KPIs, cost savings, and prepare MIS reports.
