Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely supply of materials. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and stores to prevent stock-outs. Ensure procurement complies with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Analyze market trends, raw material prices, and supplier performance for informed decision-making. Prepare and manage procurement budgets, cost reports, and purchase documentation. Lead a team of procurement executives and coordinate cross-functionally with production, QA, and finance teams. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and supplier development. Ensure timely resolution of procurement-related issues and disputes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Any Graduate or Post Graduate. 5+ years of experience in procurement/purchase in chemical, dyes, pigments, Lake colour, food colour or manufacturing industries. Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills. Knowledge of inventory management, ERP systems, and procurement best practices. Understanding of quality requirements in chemical manufacturing. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
