We specialize in delivering efficient, reliable, and customized solutions to a wide range of clients. As we expand, we're looking for a proactive and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end procurement processes - from vendor identification to purchase order creation and delivery tracking.
Source and evaluate vendors based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to optimize cost and maintain quality.
Coordinate with internal departments (production, stores, accounts, etc.) to understand material requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any delivery or quality-related issues with vendors.
Maintain and update procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier databases.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
3-4 years of proven experience as a Purchase Executive or Purchase Manager, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering setup.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with procurement software/tools and ERP systems (Tally, SAP, etc.).
Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
Good understanding of inventory control and material planning.
