Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Purchase Manager

with strong expertise in sourcing and procurement of

garment accessories

such as buttons, threads, shirt accessories, labels, tags, zippers, and related trims. The ideal candidate will have

5-7 years of experience

in the garment manufacturing industry, focusing exclusively on

non?fabric materials

. This role requires strong vendor management skills, cost control strategies, and timely procurement to support production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for garment accessories and trims. Negotiate prices, quality standards, and delivery schedules to ensure cost?effective purchasing.

Inventory & Supply Management

Monitor stock levels of buttons, threads, labels, zippers, and other trims. Coordinate timely replenishment to avoid production delays.

Vendor Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with accessory suppliers. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery reliability.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure all purchased accessories meet company quality standards. Work closely with QA team to address any quality issues promptly.

Cost Control & Budgeting

Develop cost?saving initiatives without compromising quality. Prepare and monitor purchase budgets for accessories procurement.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements. Generate regular reports on purchase performance and cost analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 5-7 years of purchase experience in the

garment manufacturing industry

(accessories only). Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Tally/ERP systems. Knowledge of garment trims, accessories specifications, and quality standards. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple procurement requirements.
