Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to handle end-to-end procurement activities for our client's manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to sourcing raw materials, vendor development, cost negotiation, and inventory planning within the Signage or Wooden/Metal Furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and execute all purchasing activities for raw materials, consumables, and hardware. Source and develop reliable vendors for wood, metal, acrylic, lighting components, paints, laminates, and allied materials. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost optimization without compromising quality. Ensure timely procurement as per production schedules and maintain optimal inventory levels. Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, and pricing. Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Accounts teams for smooth procurement operations. Maintain purchase records, GRNs, and documentation in ERP/system. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and alternate sourcing. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Handle vendor payments coordination and resolve supply-related issues.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Good understanding of materials used in signage or wooden/metal furniture manufacturing. Knowledge of inventory control and procurement planning. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under tight timelines and production pressures.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline

Experience:

8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement. Mandatory experience in Signage industry OR Wooden/Metal Furniture manufacturing.

Location Preference:

Candidates based in or willing to work at Cherlapally, Hyderabad.

Pay: ?750,000.00 - ?840,000.00 per year
