Key Responsibilities:

Procurement and Sourcing:

Identifying and selecting reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Vendor Management:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, managing vendor performance, and onboarding new vendors.

Inventory Management:

Monitoring inventory levels, managing stock, and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies to meet production needs.

Quality Control:

Ensuring that all purchased materials meet quality and regulatory standards.

Cost Management:

Analyzing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and negotiating favorable pricing.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate documentation of contracts, pricing agreements, and purchase orders.

Collaboration and Communication:

Working with other departments, such as production, quality control, and regulatory affairs.

Strategic Planning:

Contributing to the development of purchasing strategies to meet the company's goals.
Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is preferred.

Experience:

Several years of experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.

Skills:

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Software Proficiency:

Experience with procurement software and databases is also helpful.

Knowledge of Regulatory Standards:

Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines is necessary.
