Experience - Min. 5-+ years of proven experience in a procurement role, preferably within the electrical or construction industry.

The

Purchase Manager

will be responsible for overseeing the complete procurement process for materials and services across all project sites. This includes generating purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, sourcing materials, and ensuring timely delivery in alignment with project timelines and budgets.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in using computers.. Strong understanding of electrical materials and equipment is highly preferred. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for project materials and equipment. Generate and manage Purchase Orders (P.Os) accurately and timely. Source vendors, generate enquirers, and obtain competitive quotations. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Maintain vendor relationships and follow up on order status, delivery timelines, and compliance. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to forecast material needs. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory. Track and manage procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with project cost estimates. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
