We are a leading Industrial Oil Manufacturing firm looking for a highly skilled

Purchase Manager

with strong technical expertise in

Liquid Handling Systems

and

Maintenance Procurement

.

This is a specialized role requiring a candidate who understands the mechanical and chemical complexities of an

Edible Oil Refinery

. Only candidates with a B.Tech degree and direct experience in the edible oil sector will be shortlisted.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Sourcing:

Procurement of maintenance spares, liquid handling systems, high-pressure pumps, industrial pipelines, valves, and storage tank components.

Operational Procurement:

Managing requirements for plant utilities (Boilers, HVAC, Water Treatment) and chemicals (Bleaching Earth, Caustic, etc.).

Packaging & Raw Materials:

Sourcing high-volume packaging materials (Tin, PET, HDPE) and monitoring supply chain timelines.

Vendor Management:

Developing a reliable vendor base for both domestic and imported technical equipment.

Cost Control:

Driving cost-optimization initiatives and negotiating long-term contracts to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Compliance:

Ensuring all procured materials meet industry quality standards and food safety regulations.

Required Candidate Profile:

Education:

Must hold a

B.Tech

(Mechanical/Chemical/Production).

Industry Experience:

Minimum 7-10 years of core experience in

Edible Oil / Vegetable Oil manufacturing units.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of pump specifications, flow mechanics, and refinery maintenance spares.

Commercial Skills:

Proficiency in Import/Export procedures, GST, and ERP-based procurement (SAP/Tally).
