Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies.
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service with suppliers.
Issue and manage purchase orders and track deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
Analyze market trends to identify potential cost savings and supply risks.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and legal regulations.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.
Evaluate supplier performance and develop improvement plans where necessary.
Collaborate with internal teams (production, finance, logistics, etc.) to meet procurement needs and resolve any supply issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
6 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement software.
Ability to analyze data and make strategic purchasing decisions.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
