We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement of raw materials for our cattle feed division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, monitoring market trends, and ensuring timely and cost-effective material availability to support uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for cattle feed raw materials, ensuring alignment with company goals and production requirements. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and consistency of raw materials. Market Monitoring: Analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks to make informed purchasing decisions and control procurement costs. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and on-time availability of materials. Negotiation & Contracts: Lead negotiations with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, and contracts to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards. Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimum stock levels without overstocking or shortages. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Animal Nutrition, or a related field (MBA preferred) Minimum 8-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the cattle feed or agro-based industry Strong knowledge of raw materials used in cattle feed manufacturing Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills--

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
