Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Collaborate with departments such as production, finance, and logistics to forecast needs and ensure smooth operations.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations.
Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and cost-effective sources.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum
5 years of proven experience
in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
Proficiency in ERP or procurement software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
