Job Description

A purchase in-charge, or purchasing manager, is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services for an organization, focusing on developing cost-effective purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of materials. Key duties include evaluating potential vendors, managing inventory, tracking expenditures, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet company objectives and optimize costs.

Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and select vendors, building and maintaining strong relationships.

Negotiation:

Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve favorable terms.

Order Management:

Collate and process purchase orders and requisitions, track order status, and resolve issues with under-orders or damaged goods.

Inventory Control:

Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinating with other departments to forecast needs and prevent shortages or excesses.

Financial Oversight:

Analyze expenditures, track key functional metrics, and manage the purchasing budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
