Create and implement strategies to meet business objectives, focusing on cost savings and quality. Monitor purchase expenses and ensure adherence to financial targets. Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, products, and technologies to gain a competitive advantage. Supplier and vendor management Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on quality, price, reliability, and compliance. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure favorable terms. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers. Procurement and operational duties Oversee the entire purchasing cycle, from identifying needs to placing orders. Ensure that all procured items, such as textiles and readymade garments, meet quality standards and specifications. Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure sufficient stock to meet production and sales demand. Work with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any logistical issues.
