We are looking for an experienced

Purchase Head

to manage end-to-end procurement activities for

road construction projects

. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiation, vendor management, and timely procurement of construction materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle procurement of road construction materials (bitumen, aggregates, cement, steel, sand, diesel, machinery spares, etc.) Vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization Issue and track Purchase Orders as per project schedules Coordinate with project, stores, and accounts teams Ensure cost control, budget adherence, and timely material availability Maintain compliance with GST, e-way bills, and procurement norms Monitor inventory levels and reduce wastage Prepare procurement MIS and cost reports
Skills Required:

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Knowledge of road/highway construction materials Cost control and procurement planning ERP/MS Excel proficiency Good communication and leadership skills

Preferred Experience:

Road works / highway / infrastructure projects EPC or contractor environment
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
