To lead and manage the civil procurement operations for large-scale construction projects, ensuring timely sourcing of quality materials and services at competitive prices, while maintaining compliance, cost control, and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee procurement of civil materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, RMC, bricks, tiles, plumbing, and finishing items.
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with project timelines and budgets.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and contractors.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites to avoid delays.
Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize cost.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams.
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
Manage vendor relationships and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analysis, and savings metrics to senior management.
Implement systems for inventory control, material tracking, and procurement automation.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
12-20 years of experience in civil procurement within the construction industry
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and budgets
Experience in contract management and vendor development
