The Jewellery Findings is responsible for sourcing, selecting, inspecting, and managing all types of jewellery findings used in the production of fine and fashion jewellery. The role ensures quality standards, proper inventory management, and smooth coordination between the design and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing & Procurement
Identify and source high-quality jewellery findings from reliable vendors.
Compare prices, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain cost-effective procurement.
Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships.
2. Quality Control
Inspect findings for accuracy, finishing, durability, and compliance with design requirements.
Check metal purity, and overall craftsmanship.
Reject defective items and coordinate replacements with suppliers.
3. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate stock of all jewellery findings.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of stock, purchase orders, vendors, and usage.
Prepare regular inventory and purchase reports.
Assist in budgeting and cost planning for findings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in jewellery manufacturing or findings procurement (preferred).
Strong understanding of jewellery components and materials.
Good negotiation and vendor-management skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage inventory efficiently.
Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP software, etc.).
