The ideal candidate will play a key role in the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor sourcing, purchase order management, inventory coordination, and cost optimization. This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery timelines.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure cost-efficiency.
Prepare and process purchase orders accurately in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Monitor and track order status to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.
Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Quality Control, Inventory) to assess material requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, deliveries, and inventory levels.
Evaluate supplier performance on a regular basis and recommend improvements or alternatives as necessary.
Ensure full compliance with company procurement standards and documentation requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
2-4 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or equivalent).
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
