Job Description

Minimum 1 year experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role in the MEP industry.


Key Responsibilities:



Sourcing and Vendor Management:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for MEP materials and equipment. Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure favorable agreements. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore new partnerships to enhance the procurement process.

Material and Equipment Procurement:

Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand material and equipment requirements. Source, purchase, and expedite delivery of MEP materials and equipment in adherence to project timelines. Ensure the quality and compliance of procured items with project specifications and industry standards.

Cost Negotiation and Budget Management:

Negotiate prices, terms, and payment conditions to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Work closely with the finance department to manage and control the procurement budget.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that procured materials and equipment meet the required standards. Address any quality issues with suppliers promptly and effectively.

Market Research:

Stay informed about market trends, new products, and advancements in MEP materials and equipment. Provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

Logistics and Delivery Coordination:

Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment to project sites. Monitor shipping schedules and address any delays or issues that may arise.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop strategies to mitigate them. Anticipate and resolve supply chain disruptions to minimize project impact.

Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in any field. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, and industry suppliers. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards. Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office applications.
