Job Overview:
The Purchase Executive will oversee end-to-end procurement activities -- from identifying vendors and obtaining quotations to negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of required materials. The role demands a cost-conscious, proactive, and detail-oriented professional capable of handling diverse purchase requirements efficiently.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate vendors and suppliers (local and outstation).
Collect and compare quotations for best pricing.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Maintain vendor relationships and performance records.
Track stock levels and manage timely procurement.
Purchase varied items -- housekeeping, electrical, IT, office, and raw materials.
Coordinate with departments for purchase requirements.
Maintain purchase documentation and records.
Ensure timely, cost-effective material procurement.
