Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement of food, beverages, kitchen supplies, and other essential items for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of inventory and cost control in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for food, beverages, equipment, and supplies.

Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value for the restaurant.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to ensure stock availability.

Analyze market trends and seasonal demands to forecast purchasing needs.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.

Ensure all purchased goods meet quality standards and food safety regulations.

Collaborate with the finance team to track budget and cost efficiency.

Implement and maintain procurement policies and best practices.

Address and resolve issues related to delayed or defective deliveries.
