responsible for procurement of tea garden materials, vendor coordination, and timely supply of items required for Tea Estate operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procure tea garden items including fertilizers, pesticides, machinery spares, tools, fuel, packaging materials, and general stores.
Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers.
Collect quotations, negotiate rates, and issue purchase orders with approval.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to estate and office locations.
Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, and GRNs.
Coordinate with accounts for bill processing and payments.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory planning.
Ensure compliance with company policies and budgets.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Mandatory knowledge of
tea garden items and plantation operations
.
Experience in procurement and vendor negotiation.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate / Higher Secondary preferred.
1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in tea estate or plantation sector.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
Rs. 2.5 lacs to 3lacs per annum.
