Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Purchase Executive

with a strong background in electronic engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience in plant and machinery procurement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in a plant and a deep understanding of purchasing components, equipment, and services relevant to machine or metal product manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end procurement of

plant machinery, electronic components, and manufacturing equipment

. Identify and evaluate

suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers

for quality, pricing, and delivery timelines. Prepare and process

purchase orders (POs), inquiries, and comparison sheets

. Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to understand technical requirements. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with vendors to

optimize cost without compromising quality

. Track and ensure

timely delivery

of materials and follow up on pending orders. Evaluate supplier performance based on

quality, cost, and service standards

. Maintain and update the

purchase database, vendor records, and documentation

. Assist in developing and implementing

cost-reduction strategies

. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and

industry standards

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of

electronic equipment, fabrication materials, and manufacturing machinery

. Good understanding of

sourcing and supply chain processes

in industrial manufacturing. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in

MS Office, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

, and purchase documentation. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in

Electronics Engineering

. Minimum

3 years of relevant experience

in plant/machinery procurement in a electronics or manufacturing plant.

Preferred Industries:
