We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive with a Mechanical Engineering background to manage procurement activities. The role involves vendor development, negotiation, purchase order processing, knowledge of raw material related to transformer department and ensuring timely availability of materials for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and source suppliers/vendors for mechanical and industrial components.
Obtain quotations, compare offers, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Raise purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Monitor stock levels in coordination with stores/inventory teams.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality and reliability.
Track and follow up on deliveries to avoid delays in production.
Ensure compliance with company policies, cost-efficiency, and quality standards.
Prepare purchase reports and maintain proper documentation.
Coordinate with production, accounts, and logistics teams for smooth workflow.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 1 year of experience in purchase/procurement (preferably in manufacturing/engineering industry).
Knowledge of vendor management, procurement processes, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
