Reporting To: Purchase Manager / Head - Procurement
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors.
Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to ensure cost-effective purchases.
Issue purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery.
Vendor Coordination
Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and develop new vendor sources.
Ensure vendors comply with company quality standards and delivery timelines.
Resolve discrepancies related to material supply, quality, or pricing.
Inventory & Material Management
Coordinate with the stores/warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels.
Monitor inventory and raise purchase requisitions based on requirements.
Avoid overstocking or stockouts by maintaining balance.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate purchase records, agreements, and vendor details.
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Prepare MIS reports related to procurement, costs, and vendor performance.
Cost Control & Budgeting
Work on reducing procurement costs without compromising on quality.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
Analytical and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (if applicable)
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management (MBA preferred)
3-5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement (manufacturing/engineering industry preferred)

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
