Procurement Executive with an Electrical background
to manage sourcing, vendor coordination, and timely procurement of EV components.
Role Overview
The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing
electrical and EV-related components
, ensuring timely supply and cost efficiency. The role demands strong technical knowledge of electrical components and the ability to build reliable vendor networks.
Key Responsibilities
Source and procure EV-related electrical components such as
batteries, motors, controllers, wiring harnesses, chargers, sensors, and other parts
.
Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with vendors.
Raise and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of required materials.
Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and operations teams to understand requirements.
Conduct quality checks for purchased items to meet technical specifications.
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and compliance documentation.
Support cost-reduction initiatives and ensure uninterrupted supply for projects/training programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background:
Diploma/Degree in
Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
(mandatory).
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in
automotive or EV industry
.
Strong knowledge of
electrical components, wiring, and EV technologies
.
Good negotiation and vendor management
Preferred knowledge - ZOHO
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
