Key Responsibilities

Procure

Raw Materials (API/Excipients)

,

Packing Materials

, and general items as per approved vendor list. Raise

Purchase Orders (POs)

as per approved requisitions and budgets. Ensure procurement in compliance with

GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements

. Coordinate with

QA, Stores, Production, MCC and Finance

for material requirements. Follow up with vendors for

timely delivery

of materials. Maintain

vendor database

, rate contracts, and price negotiations. Compare quotations and prepare

comparative statements (CS)

. Monitor

stock levels

to avoid shortages or excess inventory. Handle

vendor evaluation, qualification and performance review

. Resolve issues related to

quality, quantity, delivery and documentation

. Ensure proper documentation of: PO COA / Test Certificates Invoices & GRN Support

audits

(internal, external, regulatory) related to purchase. Identify

cost-saving opportunities

without compromising quality.

Qualifications

B.Com / B.Sc / B.Pharm / MBA (Operations / SCM)

preferred

Experience

2-5 years

experience in: Pharma purchase / procurement Handling RM & PM procurement

Key Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of

pharma raw & packing materials

Understanding of

GMP & regulatory compliance

Strong negotiation & vendor management skills Proficiency in

ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / other ERP)

and MS Excel Good communication & coordination skills Analytical and problem-solving ability
