Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Purchase Executives with strong exposure to Agri Products and Packing Materials procurement. The role involves market visits, vendor coordination, purchasing, order tracking, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials at competitive prices.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Visit local markets, mandis, and supplier locations to source Agri food products and packing materials. Procure laminates, carton boxes, and other packaging materials as per company specifications and requirements. Purchase all required Agri food raw materials ensuring quality, quantity, and cost-effectiveness. Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers. Follow up regularly with vendors for quotations, order confirmations, dispatches, and deliveries. Review and verify deliveries against purchase orders in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines. Track purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure timely receipt of materials. Maintain proper purchase records, vendor data, and documentation. Conduct basic market research to identify better sourcing options, competitive pricing, and alternative suppliers. Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Stores, Accounts) for smooth procurement operations. Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and timelines. Demonstrate effective time management, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Agri products procurement and packaging materials sourcing. Good vendor management and negotiation skills. Ability to handle multiple orders and meet tight timelines. Basic market research and price comparison skills. Good communication and coordination abilities. Proficiency in MS Excel and basic purchase documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
