Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
Maintain and update supplier and product information in the database.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Track and monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with the finance department for invoice verification and payment.
Maintain strong professional relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable service.
Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Prepare regular purchase and cost reports for management review.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing (preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, construction, FMCG, etc.]).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office inventory management software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
