We Jayam Enginnering Services looking for an experienced and dynamic
Purchaser
with strong negotiation and analytical skills to manage procurement activities for our electrical product line. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sourcing, vendor management, and product evaluation within the electrical equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end purchasing activities for electrical spares and components.
Negotiate best prices, quality, and credit terms with vendors.
Evaluate supplier quotations, certifications, and product quality to ensure compliance.
Identify and qualify new vendors to improve supply reliability and cost efficiency.
Monitor and control lead times to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Take prompt action to resolve discrepancies related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchase, preferably in the electrical industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good knowledge of quality standards, vendor evaluation, and certification verification.
Proven ability to manage supplier issues effectively and ensure on-time material availability.
Familiarity with HT/LT Panels, ACB, VCB, OCB, MOCB spares, and transformer products is essential.
Preferred Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical or related field.
Experience in ERP/CRM or inventory management systems will be an added advantage.
