Job Responsibilities:

Handle the

procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables

for production. Identify, evaluate, and develop

vendors/suppliers

based on quality, cost, and reliability. Coordinate with

production, quality, and design departments

for material planning and specification confirmation. Prepare and manage

purchase orders, GRNs, and supplier invoices

. Monitor

inventory levels

and ensure timely replenishment. Negotiate

pricing, lead times, and delivery terms

with vendors. Assist in

supplier audits and quality verification

. Maintain records and reports related to material procurement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification:

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.

Experience:

2-5 years in

purchase, quality, or production

(preferably in pump, drum motor, or hydro cyclone part manufacturing units).

Technical Skills:

Understanding of

engineering drawings

and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of

machining, fabrication, casting, and assembly components

. Familiarity with

ERP or purchase management systems

. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Candidates with experience in

industrial pump or hydro cyclone manufacturing

will have an

added advantage

.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
