Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers for construction materials.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparisons, and negotiate pricing, credit terms, and contracts.
Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate purchase records.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites as per project schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to understand material requirements.
Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply and service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in material stock planning.
Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree/Master/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
1 to 2 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in construction.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Good knowledge of construction materials and market trends.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems is an added advantage.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
