Note : Main role will be travelling to all made out part vendors and track on the PO status and ensure on time material availability ( Vehicle availability is mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Coordination
:
Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of raw materials, consumables, and components
Track purchase orders and update delivery status regularly
Escalate delays and propose corrective actions
Documentation & Systems
:
Maintain accurate records of vendor communications and delivery schedules
Update ERP systems with delivery status and inspection results
Prepare reports on vendor performance (on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness)
Inspection & Quality
:
Coordinate with QA and Stores for material inspection and acceptance
Arrange inspection calls and ensure compliance with specifications
Vendor Development
:
Assist in identifying and onboarding new vendors
Support periodic vendor assessments and audits
Help vendors understand technical drawings and specifications
Cross-Functional Coordination
:
Liaise with engineering, PPC, and accounts for clarifications, priorities, and payments
Ensure smooth flow of materials to meet production schedules
