Key Responsibilities:
Source and negotiate with reliable suppliers and vendors.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and follow up with vendors for dispatches.
Evaluate supplier performance on quality, delivery, and pricing.
Maintain and update purchase records, price lists, and inventory.
Coordinate with the accounts team for vendor payments and reconciliations.
Work closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
Handle documentation related to purchases, including invoices and delivery notes.
Key Skills Required:
Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Email, and basic ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP).
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
Prior experience in purchasing/procurement (1-3 years).
Familiarity with inventory and logistics procedures.
