Job Description

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for handling end-to-end procurement activities for the manufacturing unit, ensuring timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and components. The candidate should possess a sound understanding of

Purchase, Procurement, and Production Planning & Control (PPC)

processes to ensure smooth production operations and cost-effective sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire

procurement cycle

-- from identifying vendors, obtaining quotations, negotiating prices, to issuing purchase orders. Coordinate closely with

PPC and production teams

to align material procurement with production schedules. Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure

quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing

. Evaluate supplier performance on the basis of

quality, delivery, and service

. Prepare and maintain

purchase records, reports, and pricing data

. Ensure

inventory levels

are maintained as per production and stocking requirements. Assist in

cost reduction initiatives

through effective negotiation and alternative sourcing. Ensure compliance with company

procurement policies

and statutory regulations. Collaborate with

stores, quality, and finance

departments for seamless material flow and vendor payments.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

Purchase, Procurement, and PPC processes

in a manufacturing setup. Proficiency in

ERP systems

(SAP, Tally ERP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office. Excellent

negotiation, communication, and analytical

skills. Ability to

coordinate with multiple departments

and handle vendor relationships. Strong understanding of

material planning, inventory management, and cost control

.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical, Production, Industrial) or B.Com / MBA (Supply Chain / Materials Management).

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement in a

manufacturing or engineering industry

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
