Hiring for Purchase Executive ( Construction Company)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end

procurement activities

for construction projects, including civil, finishing, MEP, and subcontract packages. Identify, evaluate, and onboard

vendors and suppliers

in line with project requirements, quality standards, and timelines. Negotiate

pricing, contracts, and terms

to ensure cost efficiency and value optimization. Prepare and process

purchase orders

, rate contracts, and work orders in coordination with project and finance teams. Ensure

timely procurement and delivery

of materials as per project schedules. Monitor

inventory levels

, material consumption, and site requirements to avoid shortages or excess stock. Coordinate with site teams to resolve

material-related issues

, substitutions, and technical clarifications. Ensure compliance with

company policies, budget controls, and statutory requirements

. Maintain accurate

procurement documentation, MIS reports, and vendor records

. Track market trends, price fluctuations, and recommend

cost-saving initiatives

Desired Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

construction materials

, specifications, and vendors. Excellent

negotiation and vendor management

skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with

project, planning, and finance teams

. Proficient in

ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement software

. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering / Commerce / Supply Chain Management

or a related field. Prior experience working with a

reputed construction company

is mandatory.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
