Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Purchase Executive - Packing Material

to join our dynamic procurement team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the FMCG or food processing industry, with a strong background in sourcing and procurement of primary and secondary packaging materials like bottles, pouches, cartons, labels, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure packing materials such as plastic bottles, pouches, labels, shrink films, carton boxes, etc., as per production requirements. Identify and develop reliable suppliers/vendors for consistent material quality and competitive pricing. Issue purchase orders, negotiate terms, and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely procurement. Maintain updated records of material inventory, supplier details, and cost data. Coordinate with production, quality, and stores departments to ensure uninterrupted material flow. Perform cost analysis and vendor performance evaluations regularly. Ensure all procured materials meet required food safety and packaging standards. Assist in audits and documentation as required by regulatory or internal quality systems.

Requirements:

1-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing within the FMCG or food processing industry. Knowledge of packing materials procurement (bottles, pouches, cartons, etc.). Familiarity with vendor management and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar). Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Immediate joiners will be preferred.
