to handle procurement operations, analyze material price differences across suppliers, and ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor evaluation, price negotiations, and reporting directly to the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and source construction materials as per project requirements
Prepare and issue purchase orders
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
Monitor stock, material usage, and reorder based on site requirements
Coordinate material delivery to site and follow up with suppliers
Maintain vendor database and build long-term supplier relationships
Compare quotations and maintain cost control
Prepare purchase reports, documentation, and basic MIS updates
Coordinate closely with site engineers, project managers, and accounts team
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience
in
construction / infrastructure procurement
(mandatory)
Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor management, and market trends.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to handle multiple suppliers, contracts, and price evaluations effectively.
