Job Title:

Purchase Executive - Construction Industry

Location:

Kothrud, Pune

Experience Required:

2-5 years (Construction industry preferred)

Qualification:

Any Graduate / Diploma (Civil preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, hardware, etc.).

Prepare and process purchase orders as per project requirements.

Maintain cost control by comparing quotations and ensuring competitive pricing.

Coordinate with site engineers to understand daily and weekly material requirements.

Track and ensure timely delivery of materials to multiple project sites.

Maintain vendor database, rate comparisons, and purchase records.

Follow up for invoices, GRN, and coordinate with Accounts for payment processing.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Resolve any supply issues or delays impacting project progress.

Required Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of construction materials and vendors.

Proficiency in MS Office, purchase software/ERP (optional).

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site demands.

Time management and coordination skills.

Salary Range:

As per industry standards / Based on experience.
