Job Description

Vendor Management & Communication

Establish and maintain strong relationships with global and domestic vendors. Ensure clear, timely, and effective communication for purchase requirements. Conduct vendor evaluation and qualification for quality, reliability, and compliance.

Raw Material Procurement

Identify and source raw materials as per production requirements. Negotiate contracts with vendors to achieve competitive pricing. Ensure availability of alternate suppliers to mitigate risks and optimize costs.

Cost Optimization & Value Addition

Analyze price trends and market conditions for better negotiation. Secure cost-effective purchase deals without compromising quality. Explore innovative alternatives and substitutes to reduce procurement costs.

Compliance & Customs

Handle all import/export documentation and ensure adherence to customs regulations. Maintain compliance with statutory and organizational policies in procurement. Coordinate with logistics and legal teams for smooth clearance of goods.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

Monitor raw material stock levels and ensure timely replenishment. Align procurement with production forecasts to avoid shortages or excess. Optimize supply chain efficiency from vendor to production floor.

Strategic Responsibilities

Develop long-term vendor partnerships for sustainable supply. Benchmark procurement practices with industry standards. Provide regular reports on procurement status, vendor performance, and cost savings.
