The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services that meet the company's requirements in terms of quality, cost, and timely delivery. The role involves supplier coordination, price negotiation, and ensuring proper documentation of procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate vendors for quality, pricing, and delivery speed.
Source and procure materials, equipment, and services as per purchase requests.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to obtain the best value.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on deliveries.
Maintain and update supplier database and purchase records.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchase needs and timelines.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Resolve issues related to delayed delivery, quality discrepancies, or invoice mismatches.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and budget.
Assist in the preparation of reports related to purchase activities and cost analysis.
