Float inquiries, collect quotations, and prepare comparative statements.
2. Negotiation & Order Finalization
Negotiate prices, credit terms, delivery schedules, and warranties with vendors.
Ensure best cost, quality, and service standards in all procurement deals.
Issue purchase orders and ensure adherence to company policies.
3. Vendor Development & Management
Develop new vendors for cost savings and supply stability.
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
Conduct vendor performance evaluations (quality, delivery, pricing, service).
4. Coordination & Inventory Management
Coordinate with production, projects, maintenance, and stores teams to identify requirements.
Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages/delays.
Ensure materials are delivered on time to avoid downtime in production or project execution.
5. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure purchases comply with company procurement procedures and audit requirements.
Maintain proper purchase records, documentation, and reports.
Provide regular MIS reports on procurement costs, savings, and supplier performance.
