Purchase Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Purchase Executive

with experience in the

furniture industry

. The role involves sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely procurement to support production and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure

raw materials, hardware, boards, laminates, veneers, fittings, foam, fabric

, and other furniture-related items. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships with

local and national suppliers

. Obtain

quotations

, compare pricing, and negotiate the best terms. Prepare and manage

purchase orders (POs)

and track deliveries. Coordinate closely with

production, design, and project teams

to understand material requirements. Monitor

inventory levels

and ensure stock availability without over-purchasing. Evaluate supplier performance (quality, price, lead time). Maintain purchase records, invoices, and documentation. Ensure timely delivery and follow-up with logistics. Work within company budgets and meet cost-saving targets.

Requirements

Proven experience as a

Purchase Executive

in the

furniture / modular furniture / interior fit-out

sector (preferred). Strong knowledge of

furniture materials, accessories, and vendor markets

. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or procurement software. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in

Commerce

, or related field. Additional certification in supply chain or procurement is a plus.

Salary

?14,000 per month

depending on experience and location.
